develop communities. The Community Tourism Foundation seeks to
establish relationships with individuals, groups and corporate
entities that recognise the importance of improving the areas
and nation in which they live and work. Financial and in-kind
contributions, and volunteer time are important investments in
the stability of communities.

Island Pride Magazine
This annual publication provides
an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their sense of
corporate social responsibility and simultaneously benefit
from our distribution network throughout the tourism sector.
The magazine highlights
the indigenous features of life in Barbados, such as nature trails,
folklore-related sites, and community-based crafts and
customs.

Named Grants
Partners can set up a fund
with the Foundation through which grants may be awarded to
community projects in the company's area of interest or
operation. The CTF will be responsible for the research and
monitoring associated with the projects.

Named Annual Scholarships
The Foundation is seeking
to expand the number of scholarships we award to deserving
yet disadvantaged young people. Individuals and groups can
give funds to support individuals with academic merit and
economic need to pursue hospitality training at approved
institutions.

The Ultimate Vacation

Facilities and equipment
are always needed for training. Partners can contribute to
the Foundation's workshops for community leaders by lending
these during short training periods.

Opportunities for
Volunteering
Individuals can volunteer
time to assist with a specific project over a particular
period of time. Persons with special skills in the areas of
marketing and event planning, to name a few, can use their
knowledge and talents to improve the lives of less fortunate
fellow citizens.
